Community Support

In the Community

By now you’ve seen our Pink Truck around the community. It’s our way of showing support for Breast Cancer Awareness and we’re proud to share a portion of the proceeds from this truck with The BreastCare Center at YRMC. So, every time you get filled with this tank, know you’re helping out as well!

In fact, we are donating a penny for every gallon we pump through this truck to the BreastCare Center at YRMC. Through 2023, we’ve donated over $55,000 to the BreastCare Center at YRMC.

We are proud to be a part of this community and support local events like the ones below.

This year marks 72 years of the Kiwanis Auction! Residents of the Prescott area have been involved in Kiwanis for nearly 100 years with the goal of improving the lives of children in our community. 100% of the money raised by auctioning off items donated by individuals and businesses goes to non-profits in the area that the Kiwanis Club of Prescott supports. Barrett Propane is a proud sponsor and volunteer of the auction every year. Tune-in on Access Channel 64 or watch the live stream and start your bidding!

Grab your team and come enjoy a day of golf at StoneRidge while helping benefit this local school. All proceeds help the school to continue to provide excellence in education for students grade Pre-Kindergarten to 4th grades.

YAVAPAI COUNTY 4-H/FFA EXPO

Yavapai County 4-H/FFA Expo & Fair: Barrett helps support students in our community who are involved in the 4-H Club and FFA Club. Come see their hands-on exhibits at this year’s Yavapai County Fair at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds.

The World’s Oldest Rodeo will present its 135th annual event at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds. The festivities include the annual parade hosted by the organization on Saturday, July 3rd and Barrett is proud to be the main sponsor of the parade.

Saturday, July 1st

We all love a parade and Barrett is proud to be the main sponsor of the Prescott Frontier Day Rodeo Parade! Come see all our tank trucks in the parade again this year in downtown Prescott on Saturday, July 2nd starting at 9am.

One of the largest gatherings of poets takes place every year here in Prescott. More than 40 poets and musicians share their authentic cowboy ways at the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center this year from 7 pm to 9 pm. There are also free day sessions where you can get up close and meet with the poets in person. We’re proud to sponsor these great folks and hope you’ll support them too by attending one of their performances!

Get excited for the fall season with Mortimer’s Farm annual Pumpkin Fest & Corn Maze in Dewey. Pick your favorite pumpkin in the 15 acre Pumpkin Patch or get lost in the 25-acre Corn Maze!

Saturday, November 4th

Barrett is a proud sponsor again this year of the 10th Annual Western Heritage Banquet on Saturday, November 4th at the Prescott Resort. The goal of this event is to raise awareness in the community regarding our western heritage and to preserve, promote and educate residents and visitors about our history. Dinner and silent auction will occur.

October

We’re proud to help support awareness and to be collaborating with the Breast Care Center at Yavapai Regional Medical Center and donating a penny for every gallon we pump through our pink truck.

December  2

Arizona’s Christmas City is alive with a festive parade starting at 1 pm in downtown Prescott. Enjoy fabulous floats, pets, and even people as they march down around the Courthouse to celebrate the start of the Christmas season.

December 2

After the parade, as the day turns into night, the beautiful Courthouse Lighting ceremony begins with carolers on the Courthouse steps. Countdown begins to trigger the switch and the Plaza suddenly becomes a festive scene with almost every tree sparkling with beautiful lights.

December 31

Whiskey Row becomes a street party New Year’s Eve with the 13th Annual Boot Drop. Watch a 6-foot illuminated Cowboy Boot slowly lowered down The Palace Building’s flagpole to ring in 2024. Two “drops” at 10pm & midnight. Barrett Propane has been a major sponsor of this free, family-friendly event for the past several years.
